A Must See!! Dave Chapelle Reacts to the deaths of George Floyd & More

There has been so much going on in the world, it’s almost hard to keep up with it all. We can’t ignore the racial tension and uproar that has affected the nation. In this special, Dave Chapelle addresses the issues that are affecting the black community, and the nation as a whole.

As a black woman, I worry every time my father, uncles, brothers, and friends leave their homes because there is no guarantee they will make it back home safely. Not only do they face this danger from the world and people who do not understand them, but also from officers that have taken an oath to protect them.

Unfortunately, we see this all too often on the news, and social media daily. This is a sad reality that leaves me feeling helpless in protecting them & speechless at the horrific stories and images that are constantly shown on television and online.

I pray for every one of them daily. I do not always have the words that can express my feelings in one blog post or a motivational quote. Dave Chapelle did an excellent job in this video touching on just a FEW of the emotions I am feeling, and maybe you are too. His delivery is blunt, and he does not mince words, but the message is clear. Change is needed in our nation, and in our hearts.

I am tired of hate. I am tired of senseless deaths. I am tired of being unheard. I am tired of people ignoring the issues. I am tired of being told to “Get over it.” I am tired of being afraid of those who are supposed to protect me. I am simply TIRED.
