First and foremost—Happy New Year! I truly hope you all had a joyful holiday season filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of those who mean the most to you. I know it’s been a few weeks since I last posted, and I want to start by saying thank you for your patience and continued support.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the reason for my absence. In December 2024, just before Christmas, my father passed away. Losing him has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced. I took time away to grieve with my family, to reflect, and to try to find my footing in a world that now feels a little emptier without him.

Even through my sadness, one thing keeps me going—my dad was incredibly proud of this blog and the community we’ve built together. He believed in my passion for connecting people, for creating opportunities, and for making sure that knowledge and resources were accessible to everyone, no matter where they come from.

So, as we step into 2025, I choose to honor his legacy by continuing to do what I love. BlackGyrlWorld will keep growing. I will keep bringing you all content that inspires, educates, and uplifts—whether it’s about entrepreneurship, traveling, technology, or simply chasing your dreams. Because if there’s one thing my dad always taught me, it’s to never give up.
